Shorty stands that perfect height of 14.3 hands and is stout enough to carry any size rider . He rides well in the arena picking up both his leads and has 3 smooth gaits, Shorty rides great outside and is a veteran out on the trails and goes wherever you point him, he neckreins, sidepasses and yeilds to leg pressure making him a great fit for all levels of riders! We have also taken him down the main highway into town and he doesnt mind all the traffic.
Shorty does not get easily excited making him a great fit for timid riders to build confidence on!
We have also used Shorty to push cattle and check fences here on the farm. Shorty is the more laid back type gelding making him the perfect family horse. He does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. Shorty stands to be tied, washed and to be tacked and mounted. Shorty is safe, sound and ready to move into his forever home.
