Capone has been in our program since January of his 2-year-old year. Everyone wants a horse that doesn’t have any bad habits. The best way to get that is to have a horse that has never learned any bad habits. Capone has been in good hands his whole life. His training has been brought along slowly and correctly. This has laid down a foundation that will carry him through the rest of his life, no matter what discipline he continues with.
Capone has been hauled and shown in Open VRH, placing in 3 of his classes at his first show. He settles in at the show great and handles the large venues like an old horse.
Capone has had extensive training in cutting as well as boxing. We have roped the dummy and live cattle. He has also been used to check and move cattle in the pasture. Capone rides out by himself or with another horse, without any problems. He has been exposed to dogs running through the brush, all kinds of wildlife and a wide variety of terrain. Capone is safe around traffic and machinery.
Capone loads and hauls in a stock or slant trailer. He stands great for the farrier, ties wherever you put him, bathes and clips. He sells 100 % sound mentally and physically.
