Duck is a well-mannered 7 year old 14.3 hand gelding with good size bone. He is the perfect size for fit many different riders. He is happy to ride English, Western, Bareback or Double! We could see this boy exceeding in many different disciplines! Given that he's been used primarily as a trail horse, he's developed a strong foundation for seeing the great outdoors, woods, roads, traffic, dogs, wildlife etc. He has great ground manners and has been hauled off property more times that I can count. Anyone can get on and hits the trails on this sweet boy! Many different kids have ridden “Duck” and he’s been used in walk/trot lessons. Ridden by small 7 year old children , he offers absolutely no bad behavior or silliness. He would benefit from some polishing in the formal aspect of things in arena work. He is learning to be more consistent in the bridle. Extremely comfortable gaits. Leave him sitting for a week and he’ll come out happy and ready to go to work. Ready to hit the trails tomorrow! He would look lovely Fox Hunting or even going cross country. Duck is good with loud noises, car horns, logs, water, tarps etc. He has all the right pieces and has a great “all around” start. We jump him courses and he has a lead change. This boy is honest as they come and has lots of potential! He is forward going with a beautiful stride. He does sell with a small old scar on left hind pastern. Duck is 100% sound in every single way. Good in stall, outside in field, alone or with others. PPE welcome.
