The pedigree of Volta VL combines the promising nine-year-old BWP-approved stallion Piece of Cake M with a Dutch-origin damline. Her dam Monastrell Flandria, is a half-sister to four international showjumpers, including the 1.55m level competing Oaky Flandria (s.Cabrio van de Heffinck) ridden by Jonathan Corrigan as well as the 1.45m level performer Hors Class Flandria (s.Contact van de Heffinck). Monastrell Flandria is sired by the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Flamenco de Semilly. Granddam Chablis Flandria Horse carries the valuable genes of world champion Cumano and is herself a half-sister to the international 1.45m winner Elton Flandria Horse. This direct branch of the family has also produced 1.40m performers such as Forever van ’t Hofken and Lou van ’t Hofken.
