Not only is he huge, but he’s also a total showstopper—put together like a model and with a temperament to match. In the ring, Goliath is a bit of a push ride. He’s the “easy-going, let’s take it slow” type—but when you ask him to go, he’ll pick up the pace. His walk, trot, and canter are smooth and comfortable in both directions (and yes, he’ll trot like he’s auditioning for a dressage test if you ask nicely). His brakes are top-notch—just a “whoa” and a sit back, and you’re stopping on a dime. He’s a solid, forgiving partner who’d let you crawl around him like a jungle gym (but we’re not saying that’s the safest idea).
